Technical Committee for Plant Engineering and Energy (ENEN)
This technical committee deals with engineering technical matters of a paper-mill which are mainly:
- provision of auxiliary services for paper production like energy supply and water supply, industrial trucks etc.
- planning and maintenance of machines and plants for half-stock production, paper production and further processing of paper and of auxiliary plants
- questions of official licences, e.g. procedure according to BImSchG [Federal Law on Pollution Control].
It has the following three sub-committees:
- Energy (ENEN 1)
- Process Control Engineering (ENEN 2)
- Noise (ENEN 3)
It works in close cooperation with the technical committees for
- Health and Safety
- Environmental Issues
